Inspiration

Here's an idea for you to scrapbook...The crash of the economy, or Obama.  When our kids grow up or years down the road when we've lost alot of our memory, this could be interesting to look back on.   Look at it like you're recording a piece of history in your own words and pictures.  Take pics of your paper or scan your paper.  Take pictures of businesses with "Going Out of Business" signs.  Write down your thoughts.  Document the stimulus plan..."to be continued".  Lets see how long it takes to bounce back.

Technique tuesday...

This moveable elements class is fantastic!  I have never been big on 8x8 albums, but this class has inspired me to go for it.  These templates add entertainment to an album that you can't get from a 12x12.  I can't wait to create my own.  If your reading this and are in the Creative Chaos area, you definitly want to join this class on Thursday, March 12 @ 5:30.  Today we have four card makers and one has never scrapbooked.  They are so excited about the possibilites.  Here is a sample of one template.            

In a rut?

All of us scrappers, crafters, etc.  get in creative ruts and the best way to get back on the horse is to be encouraged by others.  Here is my encouragement...don't feel overwhelmed by what you haven't finished or by how many years that its been.  Start with today, or the last time you took pictures.  We just had an awesome opportunity for great pictures when it snowed this week.  Print your pictures, dust off your craft table and create a page or mini-album.   Heck, come to us and we'll encourage you with ideas.   Grab the latest scrapbook magazine, check out scrapper websites and blogs.   These things always inspire me.  But my friends' encouragement is the best encouragement.  Let me be your friend to help you get inspired.

March Madness

It's always madness for me, but tis March.  We have alot going on this month at Creative Chaos!   Jodi is teaching a Moveable Elements Class next week (March 10 & March 12)  that will teach you ways to make your smaller projects interactive.   It amazes me the ideas that Jodi comes up with.  She has blessed us with her skills so lets show our appreciation by joining her classes.  If you haven't had the chance to try one, you are missing out!  Here's a sample of a template that you will create.    so neat!!

We are also having a 3 page layout class this month, here is a one of the pages you will recreate. no worries, there is a dude page also.
